Number of categorymembers per year

The number of members of a specific category grouped by the year they were added.  Members of subcategories are not included.

SELECT YEAR(cl_timestamp) AS year, COUNT(DISTINCT(cl_from)) AS num_files FROM categorylinks
WHERE cl_to="Uploaded_with_pattypan" AND cl_type="file"
GROUP BY YEAR(cl_timestamp) ASC
